Matthew Golden

Matthew Golden is a Partner with Palo Duro Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm based in Dallas, Texas. Prior to founding Palo Duro Capital, Matthew focused on acquisitions in the industrial, specialty chemical and building products sectors for Capital Southwest Corporation (NASDAQ: CSWC), a publicly-traded private equity firm with approximately $800 million in assets under management, and subsequently led the acquisition efforts for CSW Industrials, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSWI) upon its spin-off from Capital Southwest Corporation in October of 2015. Prior to Capital Southwest, Matthew spent seven years with Hunt Investment Group, a Dallas-based private equity firm affiliated with Ray L. Hunt. Matthew began his career as a financial analyst in Merrill Lynch’s corporate investment banking group in New York.
Matthew received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Matthew resides in Dallas, TX with his wife and two children.

Dave Sheridan

Dave Sheridan is an Operating Partner with Palo Duro Capital and has 25-years of leadership experience within global industrial companies. Dave spent most of his career at Valspar Coatings, starting in 1996 at their Baltimore facility as a process engineer for their powder coatings, electronic molding compounds and mastics product lines, acquired from the Farboil Company.  In 2001, Dave became the Plant Manager of Baltimore and went on to manage Valspar facilities in Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL and Garland, TX.  Dave has held several executive roles at Valspar including Director of Project Management, Director of Operations, Market Manager for their PET Barrier business and Business Director for their Beer and Beverage Can Coatings business.  In 2018, Dave left Valspar to start his own firm, Sheridan Management Group, LLC, which provides management consulting and engineering services to Industrial clients.

Dave holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and a certificate from the Chicago Management Institute at University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.  Also, he has been Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute since 2012.

Dave, his wife Lisa and their seven children, live in Pittsburgh, PA.

Randall Katz

Randall Katz is the founder of RK Capital Partners, a leading provider of deal origination services. Randall “accidentally” founded RKCP at the request of investment firms which requested his assistance with their deal origination efforts. Randall thought the projects were a one-time occurrence, however, he soon realized that he enjoyed the personal aspects of dealmaking more than “just crunching numbers”. Randall previously led the business development efforts for a leading management consulting and financial advisory firm, in addition to working in the Corporate Banking Group at Bank of America in Atlanta and Washington, DC. Randall decided to pursue deal origination full-time in 2005 and has successfully originated numerous platform and add-on transactions across many industries including niche manufacturing, value-added distribution and business services.

Randall received his Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997 and attended Pace Academy in Atlanta. Randall and his wife, Erica, live in Atlanta, Georgia with their 3 children.
